Small Shop Saturday: Disney Jewelry

After having a rough day yesterday, it's clear that I could use a little extra sparkle in my life today.  I've been thinking that it was time I do another Small Shop Saturday post anyways... and I couldn't think of something more perfect to share with you today.

If you've hung out here, I'm sure you're aware of my affinity of accessories.  I've always loved them, but the past few years, I've made it my personal mission to specifically collect more Disney accessories.  At this point, I've got a rather large collection of scarves, hats, jewelry and bags.  Some people buy their Disney stuff to wear at the parks but I buy mine for all the time.  I love being able to bring magic into everyday.

One of my favorite finds recently has been small shops that sell Disney jewelry.  There are a ton of them, so I'm only going to share two today.  (Don't worry, I'll write about the rest in the future!)  I've purchased from these two small shops in the past few months.

The first one is Make It Minnie.  I discovered this shop on Instagram a few years ago.  I placed my first order in July of 2018.  Since then, I've placed three more orders.  Make It Minnie is run by Ashley- a mom of two daughters from Utah.  She primarily sells jewelry, although she's started to sell a little bit of clothing the past few years as well!

I was immediately impressed with my Clock Numbers Necklace in Rose Gold that I bought back in July of 2018.  I loved it so much that I ordered the Best Day Ever Necklace in Rose Gold and the Second Star Necklace in Silver only a month later.

In August of 2020, I fell in love with the Sorcerer Dress and bought that.  I loved how it wasn't the usual blue with silver or gold combination.  Instead, the stars all over it are rose gold!  I still haven't worn this dress yet, but I'm sure it'll make it's debut when I have a special occasion to wear it!  I love how it sparkles!

My most recent order was back in March when I ordered the Silver Clock Face, Silver Treat Yourself, and the Silver To the Moon Necklaces during a shop restock.  I had been waiting to get the Small World Clock and the Mickey Ice Cream Bar necklaces for a while.  Then, Ashley also released the new Bing Bong inspired necklace during the restock and I had to have it too!  I absolutely love the little crystals on it!

Not only does Make It Minnie have necklaces, but they also have bracelets, rings and earrings.  I've got my eye on a few other necklaces that I'd like to get... as well as some of the matching earrings!  She also recently started selling nail decals!  I really love the both the Tangled Sun and Second Star designs!

The coolest thing about Make It Minnie is that Ashley releases a new princess ring every month. I haven't bought any of them yet, but I've got a list of my favorites and what finish I'd like to get them in.  They're the perfect way to tie together a princess Disneybound or outfit.  They're also a subtle nod to Disney without being over the top.

I've been so impressed with the quality and details of all the necklaces I've bought so far.  Plus, the packaging that they come in is also beautiful.  These would make great gifts for the Disney fan in your life!  I'm sure that I'll be adding many more items to my collection of Make It Minnie jewelry over the coming years!

The second shop that I want to share is Two Park Princesses.  I discovered this one only a few months ago and it immediately reminded me of Make It Minnie.  This shop is run by two sisters and they also make fabric mouse ears and jewelry travel cases!

The first purchase I made was their Fifth Spirit Necklace back in March.  I absolutely love the "Show Yourself" song in Frozen two.  Not only is this necklace gorgeous, but it also has the symbols of the elements in the movie.  I absolutely love the details on it!

My second order was in mid-April when Two Park Princesses was doing a restock on a few of their popular necklaces.  During the restock, I got the Progress Necklace in Silver and the Leader of the Club Necklace in both Silver and in Rose Gold.  I love how cute the Carousel of Progress gear is!  The text is so tiny and detailed but it's still legible.  And of course I had to get the mouse ears necklaces in my favorite finishes!

I've got a list of the other necklaces I'd like to get eventually.  A few of the ones I like are still in stock, but a lot of them sell out during restocks.  (I get their emails so I'll know when the items go on the website.)  Two Park Princesses also just started making rings.  I'm really excited to see what designs they come up with next!

I really love my jewelry from both of these shops.  It's great to see different small shops making their own take on designs.  It's hard when you're both working from the same movies and things as inspiration, but both shops have put their own spin on it.

Make It Minnie and Two Park Princesses make quality jewelry products with great attention to detail.  Their packaging is beautiful and perfect for gift giving!  I am 100% obsessed and I can't wait to see what else they dream up!  Any of the items from these shops are sure to add a little extra sparkle and a dash of magic to your day!  °o°

Small Shop Saturday: Halloween 2022

Happy Saturday!!!  It's been a hot minute since I shared a Small Shop Saturday post here on my blog so I thought it was time that I do another.  Since we're now well into spooky season, I figured it was time to share a few of my small shop Halloween finds with you!  However, I'm going to change it up a bit in execution.

Instead of doing a round up of items that I've found on Etsy (like I have in the past), I'm going to share a few small shops that I like to shop from with you!  Some of them will be familiar to my frequent fliers, but I thought I'd share them again anyways!  I've found some really fun stuff this year...  so let's check everything out!

Two Park Princesses

I love jewelry and it's such a simple way to add a little bit of magic to an outfit.  This year, Two Park Princesses released a few new Halloween necklace designs.  My favorite was the Boo To You Necklace.  It comes in purple and orange.

It would go really well with my necklace from last year, the Mickey Spiderweb design!

Another new design was the "Message From Beyond" Madame Leota Necklace.

The most popular new design this year was the "Spell On You" Necklace which is a very clever rendition of "book" from Hocus Pocus.  It sold out almost immediately, but I'm sure they'll bring it back again sometime between now and next year!

It would go well with the "Spell On You" Hocus Pocus Ring that I bought last year.  I love how they included three little stones to represent each Sanderson Sister!

Femme de Bloom

Melanie from Femme de Bloom always has a giant selection of earrings and jewelry.  I got quite a few Halloween earrings from her shop last year... but I had to add a few more from this year's new designs to my growing collection.  There are so many more spooky themes and designs to choose from, but here are a few of my favorites!

Park Native

I haven't talked about Park Native on my blog yet, but I discovered this shop through Instagram sometime last year.  As you know, I love accessories.  I've also always had a thing for hats.  I haven't worn them as much recently, but I have quite a collection of them that I've collected since college.  When I saw these berets, I was obsessed.  I have a few designs that I've already purchased.  My favorite Halloween design, that also returned this year was the Halloween Treats Beret.

The other spooky hat I have from last year, that was also restocked, is the Madame Leota Haunted Mansion beret.  It comes in black, teal, and two shades of purple.

This year, Park Native also debuted this new Mickey spiderweb design.  It comes in four different colors: black, orange, lime and purple!  I think it's really cute!

The Beheaded

Speaking of hats, another company I came across on "the gram" sometime last year was The Beheaded.  They made a limited edition Candy Corn Witch Hat last year that I completely fell in love with.  This year, they made a new version of it and I need it!

They also have witch hats in a bunch of other colors: black, purple, orange, lime, red, pink and more.  These are the perfect addition to any Halloween outfit!

Strange Cvlt 

Finally, I discovered StrangeCvlt a few weeks ago when I came across their Candy Corn shoes somewhere online.  I've wanted candy corn shoes for years and I haven't been able to find any.  These flats are everything and they would go perfectly with all of my candy corn outfits and accessories!  Unfortunately, they sold out in my size before I could buy them... but they're on my radar for next year!

However, I was able to snag these Jack-O-Lantern flats from Unique Vintage when they were on sale.  They came a few days ago and they're so cute!

I also got these Purple Velvet Bat Flats to go with my Haunted Mansion outfits!

Small Shop Saturday: Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Products

Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary is finally here!  One of the things that I've been most looking forward to was all of the merchandise.  I absolutely love the blue, purple and iridescent color scheme!  Disney has great merchandise, but I've also found some great items from small shops!  If you're looking for a way to celebrate with a special outfit and accessories, I've found a bunch of fun options!  I've also found some stickers and a few art prints that would be great decor pieces!  Let's check them out!

WDW 50th Anniversary Dress- I had to start off by showing you my absolute favorite handmade find for the 50th.  I am obsessed with Mickey and Minnie's outfits and this gorgeous dress by Fairy Godmom Fashion is perfection!!!  I absolutely adore it!!!

WDW 50th Bracelet Stack- I love these cute bracelets from Tiffy's Craft Creations. The colors are perfect to match with all of the other 50th merchandise available!

WDW 50th Mickey and Minnie Candy Apple Magic Band Charms-  These candy apple charms by Space Mouse Shop are a great way to add a little sweet treat to your day.  Also, they don't count towards any daily calories!

WDW 50th Mickey and Minnie Art Print- I think this cute art print from By Justin Time Designs is the perfect way to remember the celebration.  I think I might get a print to put with the rest of the 50th merchandise we're sure to accumulate.

WDW 50th Nuimo Outfits- If your small Nuimo friends need a bit of festive cheer, these adorable outfits by Broken Heart Therapy are perfect!  I love how cute the little Mickey and Minnie Nuimo plush are in their 50th celebration outfits!

I'm Celebrating 50 Years of Magic Button- This button by Walker Creatives US gets straight to the point, we're all coming to celebrate 50 magical years!!!

WDW 50th Anniversary Bow- I really love this bow by Dream Love and Bows.  The colors are bright and fun- just like the 50th colors!  Plus, the 50th medallion in the center looks just like the centerpiece on Cinderella Castle!

WDW 50th Anniversary Charm Bracelet- If you love Alex and Ani style bracelets, this charm bracelet from Corner Craft Shop will look great on your bracelet stack!

WDW 50th Castle Sticker- This sticker by Alexa Redhead Designs is a perfect match to the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary logo.  I might get one for my scrapbook!

Mickey and Minnie 50th Button- I like the simplicity of this button from Clubhouse Buttons.  It has Mickey, Minnie, fireworks, the 50th castle logo and says Walt Disney World on it... what more do you need?

WDW 50th Anniversary Character Stickers- These character stickers by Ariel Marie Treasures are absolutely adorable.  I love the characters' 50th outfits.  These will also look great on my scrapbook pages for the 50th anniversary.

WDW 50th Knotted Headband- I love this 50th headband by Thingamabows.  I have bought a few other headbands from this company and I love them!

WDW 50th Earrings- I love these simple 50th anniversary earrings by Empire Artz.

WDW 50th Anniversary Minnie Ear Earrings- I also had to share these earrings by Empire Artz.  I love the little Minnie Mouse ears and 50th bling!

WDW 50th Mickey Passholder Sticker- So many small shops have made their own variations of the passholder stickers that Walt Disney World gives out.  These Mickey stickers from My Party Studio Shop are perfect for the 50th!

Celebrating 50 Magical Ears Shirt- There are so many shirts that it's impossible to show them all.  I really liked this shirt by Create and Ship because it was simple and it used the font from Tangled on the bottom text!

WDW 50th Anniversary Stickers- These stickers by A and C Accessories Shop are also fun!  There are a bunch of different designs to choose from!

WDW 50th Cinderella Castle Print- I love this print by Hey Lissa Love.  I've followed Melissa on Instagram for a few years now and I love her style.  I'd like to think that Cinderella Castle was smiling and happy about her makeover and sparkly 50th decor!

Most Magical Celebration Necklace- Finally, I found this gorgeous necklace from Two Park Princesses.  While they're not on Etsy, I had to share this fun find!  Right now, the necklace is currently sold out, but keep an eye out for a restock!  I have this necklace and it's absolutely beautiful and perfect for the 50th celebration!!! 

These small shop finds are sure to give you some extra pep in your step while you celebrate Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary celebration!  I love the shades of purples, blues, and pinks and the shimmer of iridescent sparkles.  Plus, what's a 50th anniversary without a little bit of gold!  If these aren't to your taste, keep an eye out for more handmade treasures.  I'm sure more things will be showing up throughout the 18 month celebration- including new ear designs from yours truly!
