Earlier today, I registered for the 2026 RunDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas... 🎄
Or should I say, the Virtual 12Ks of "Stitchmas"?

As you know, Eliot loves Stitch. So as soon as we saw the announcement of the theme for RunDisney's 2026 12Ks of Christmas, I knew we had to sign up for it. Eliot and I only register one of us for the virtual races and then we share everything that's included in the package- and since he was busy at work this morning, I signed myself up.

RunDisney released photos of the race medals and the themes the other day. This year, there's the "Cute & Fluffy 4K", the "An Ohana Wonderland 4K", and the "Mele Kalikimaka 4K". Participants who sign up for the Challenge will do all three of the 4K events, and then they'll also get a medal for the "2026 RunDisney Virtual 12Ks of Stitchmas Challenge" that lights up!
You also get a Holiday Haul of Stitch and Disney Christmas swag along with your four Stitch themed medals. This year, the package will also include:

Eliot was super excited when he found out that there would be a Stitch Santa hat. We hadn't seen photos of it until today, but I knew how much he wanted one. I'm personally very excited to add another RunDisney shoe ornament to the tree I plan to put in the room we're currently working on re-modeling.
Thankfully, the registration process for RunDisney's virtual races has never been super stressful for me. I was put in the waiting room right at 10:00 AM. Then, I had about a 22 minute wait until I was going to be let into the registration website. The timer kept going down though, and I finally got in to register around 10:17 AM.
