Magical Merchandise: Little Words Project

Hi Friends!!!  I'm back for another Magical Merchandise Monday, and today I think it's time that I finally introduce you to one of my greatest obsessions- Little Words Project.  I've mentioned them here and there in passing, but I haven't exactly acknowledged my full-fledged obsession with their bracelets.

Photo From Disney Store

If you look at jewelry at the Disney theme parks, you've probably already seen the Little Words Projects friendship style bracelets hanging on the rack.  I have always loved friendship bracelets, but these feel more elevated and stylish to me than traditional DIY bracelets.  The tiny square beads look more chic to me than the standard round beads usually used in friendship bracelets.  And they make patterns with their beads that feel more adult and sophisticated.  As soon as I saw them, I was immediately hooked.

My Personal Photo

In fact, my first two bracelets were from their original Disney Parks designs that didn't even have any special beads.  I wanted "Wish" and "Dream" because the words were important to me... but also because it was during my 40th birthday trip and those were the two Disney Cruise ships that I'd been on.  Shortly after that, I placed my first order on their website in December of 2024, and I haven't looked back since.

My Personal Photo

At this point, I probably have more bracelets than I can count- including both Disney and non-Disney designs.  Although, you know me and I have quite a few Disney Little Words project bracelets!  Today, I thought that I would share a few of my favorite designs & collections that they have released so far!

The first Disney collection I remember seeing online was the first version of the Mickey & Friends bracelets with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Pluto designs!

Last August, Little Words Project released their Disney Princess Collection to coincide with Disney's World Princess Week.  The collection included designs for Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Belle, Moana, Tiana and Jasmine.

They also have released a few Winnie the Pooh designs.

There was also a Nightmare Before Christmas Collection.

The new Toy Story Collection just came out a few months ago... and some of those designs immediately sold out.  (I actually missed a few of them.)  Thankfully, they just re-stocked and my order arrived the other day!  This collection included designs for Woody, Buzz, Jessie, the Aliens, Slinky Dog and the bundle exclusive Rex!  It also had bag charms for Woody and the Aliens... both of which I couldn't resist.

They also just released some Spiderman designs!

There are tons of Disney Park exclusive designs... and I own quite a few of them!

Photo From Disney Store

There are four Disney Cruise Line bracelets that I've seen pop-up on eBay.  I have purchased Captain Mickey, Captain Minnie and the Bon Voyage designs.  I'm hoping to find Sailor Donald when we're on the Wish next month!  They also have a few designs for Aulani and naturally, I had to get a Duffy bracelet.  (Unfortunately, all of these designs are exclusive so the only place I've been able to find them thus far is eBay.)

They also have come out with tons of Disney holiday designs for both Halloween and Christmas.  Target actually had a few Disney Christmas designs last year and I was absolutely thrilled to find a few bracelets at our local Target store.  There have been so many park designs as well.  There are a ton of Halloween designs that I'll be looking for this fall.  Here's a peek at the Disney Parks Christmas designs from last year!

I also own a few custom designs that I've created on their website.  You can choose from a bunch of their popular patterns and then customize your bracelet with whatever word or phrase you want on it.  (As long as it's not a copyrighted word and it's 13 letters or less.)  You can also choose from a few different colors of letter beads.  This "Park Princess" design is from my latest order.  I wanted something pink, girly and magical!

Back in January of 2025, Eliot and I went to the Little Words Project store in Boston because we had appointments to make our own friendship bracelets at their Bead Bar.  We had so much fun making our own designs!  I made bracelets in bright rainbow designs with "Create" and Magic Maker" on them.  And Eliot created two beautiful bracelets for me- one with "Faith, Trust" and a matching one with "Pixie Dust" on it.

My Personal Photo

During our Walt Disney World trip this February, we were able to make it to the Little Words Project Pop-Up Shop in Disney Springs over Princess Half Marathon Weekend.  I was so excited because it feels like our trips never line up with any of their special events, and this time we finally made it to one!  Eliot and I had a little too much fun picking out bracelets and special Disney casted beads for our DIY bead kits.  (Eliot finally got his monorail bead!)  We even bought enough that we qualified for two of the gift with purchase totes... so I'm a proud owner of both a pink and purple tote!

My Personal Photo

I mentioned the other day that the D23 Expo had a few exclusive items I wanted to purchase.  Over the weekend, I found someone to get me the Little Words Project D23 Expo exclusive items I wanted- the bracelet and the bag charm.  I still haven't gotten the tote yet, but I didn't want that as much as the other two items!

I also mentioned that Little Words Project was going to have their new Mickey and Minnie Collection release this morning.  I still have to purchase those... but I'm going to preemptively apologize to my wallet now for the damage I'll do.  (I'm really sorry!)

Finally, I've focused this post mostly on the bracelets, you probably noticed that they have other designs as well!  They have also been absolutely killing it with their bag charms lately.  There's a new Minnie Cutie Ghost bag charm that I have to get from the parks!  (It matches this collection.)  And I've also snagged a few bag charms on eBay that are harder to find designs from other pop-up events I've missed.  Thankfully, Disney seems to be picking up on their popularity, because a few of their more recent designs have started to show up on their Disney Store website!

As you can see, Little Words Project has definitely made an impact on me these past few years.  I love having little reminders that I can wear on my wrist- and I can choose whichever ones feel relevant at the moment.  Whenever I'm having a tough moment, these bracelets are a great reminder of my strength, heart, hopes and dreams. °o°

Magical Merchandise: Disney x Lilly Pulitzer

It's 4/11 and I'm here to give you the 411 on one of the hottest collections at Disney Parks right now!  The Disney x Lilly Pulitzer collaboration took the theme park world by storm about a month ago.  There was a TikTok video where the collection was teased and it was all that was needed to set Disney fans ablaze in excitement.

The collection was originally released online and in the theme parks on March 14th...

And it took a whopping less than 15 minutes for most of the items to be completely sold out online at 3:00 am.  By the time I woke up, the only thing left were the leggings and the long sleeve dresses in extra small.  Everything else wasn't even showing up.

Ironically, it has taken an entire month for the collection to be released in the only Lilly Pulitzer store on property... hence the purpose for this post.  If you're still looking for something from the Disney x Lilly Pulitzer collection, the items will finally be available in the Disney Springs store this Thursday, 4/14!

I have to admit that this collection really caught my eye and I'm a bit disappointed that it sold out so quickly online.  I would have loved to at least get the baseball hat.  I've always loved the bright colors and watercolor style of Lilly Pulitzer designs.

Unfortunately, I've never taken the plunge to purchase any Lilly Pulitzer items because I'm not sure how they'd fit on me.  The brand only recently expanded their sizing charts and I usually have problems with items not fitting in my chest and shoulders.  Based on their size charts, most won't fit, but based on Disney's chart they might.  Basically, I'm afraid to spend so much on something that won't fit me.  If I knew the sleeveless dress would fit correctly, I would have a personal shopper pick one up in a heartbeat!

I really love the "Lilly Loves Disney" design though.  The aqua background color is beautiful.  Then, the pink, lime and orange accents are so much fun.  As you know, Eliot's and my wedding colors were pink and lime so I'm automatically drawn to those colors.  I love the playful Mickey and Minnie design in the print, with oranges tucked into the florals.  Plus, there's even a castle!  Ugh, it's so beautiful!

Disney recently released this video in collaboration with Lilly Pulitzer where you can see the different elements of the design being painted in watercolors.  It's so cool!

I really do love this collection and I hope this is only the beginning of the collaborations between Disney and Lilly Pulitzer.  I also hope they realize the error of their ways in making less merchandise than was needed after the super quick sellout.  Maybe they will release more of these items online eventually... a girl can dream right!  °o°

Fun Find: 2022 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Fashion Show

Today, I have a really fun find that I wanted to share.  If you love gorgeous gowns and fairy tale weddings as much as I do, then this is the post for you!

On Wednesday 2/9, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings officially released their 2022 Allure Bridals wedding gown collection fashion show video online.  (Ironically, it was the same day that I was celebrating 10 years since I said "yes" to my wedding dress.)  I always love seeing the new Disney wedding gowns inspired by our favorite Disney princesses.

I've kept an eye out on both the 2020 and 2021 releases and I honestly haven't been wowed by a lot of them.  But this year, there are a few gowns in the collection that really took my breath away.  Eliot and I have talked about having a vow renewal at Disney someday, and a few of these gowns are definitely on my radar!

I think my favorite is the new platinum Snow White gown (below).  I love the neckline detail and the gorgeous florals cascading down the gown.  It's fit for a princess!

Here's a look at the 2022 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Fashion Show.

Oh my gosh... the gown at the end.  And how they used it as a projection screen tied into the castle!?!?!  What?!?!  That's pure Disney magic right there!  The Walt Disney World anniversary gown is stunning and I definitely need to know more about it!

All of these gowns (and the models wearing them) are absolutely gorgeous!  I noticed that they have modest options for women who don't want to show as much skin.  There are a lot of different silhouettes in the collection of 25 new dresses this year.

I also want to point out that I'm very impressed that Disney and Allure Bridals included women of many different races and plus sized women!  As a curvy girl, I love seeing girls that look like me wearing these gorgeous gowns.  The entire Disney Fairy Tale Wedding dress collection is available in sizes 0-30!!!  I'm totally on board with that!

I think these new Disney wedding gowns are absolutely stunning and would make any girl feel like a fairy tale princess on her wedding day!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: Valentine's Day Outfits

It's the last day of January, and that's got me looking ahead to next month.  When I think of February, the first thing I always think of is Valentine's Day.  Love, reds, pinks, purples, hearts and little conversation heart candies immediately fill my mind.

I used to dress up for Valentine's Day all the time in high school and college.  Pink is one of my favorite colors, so it's not really a huge jump for me.  Lately, I haven't gotten into it as much.  However, I have wanted to start dressing up for it more, so I've picked up a few pieces the past few years.  I was really excited when I saw a new Disney Valentine's Day collection by Hot Topic and Her Universe released a few days ago.

Today, I thought that I'd share my favorite items from the collection!  The first thing that caught my eye was this super cute Minnie Mouse Strawberry Gingham Top.  This seems to be the most popular item in the collection as I can't even find it on Hot Topic's website.  (Not gonna lie, I just abandoned writing my post for a few minutes so I could go buy one of the last three of these shirts still available on Her Universe's website!)

The other item that caught my eye was the Minnie Striped Strawberry Sweater.  It's a crop top sweater, which I'm unsure about.  But I love the cute design other than that!

I also thought this Minnie Cherry and Strawberry Sweater Vest was really cute.  I like sweater vests so I hope they make more of these in the future!

This Minnie Strawberry Dress is absolutely adorable.  I'm already picturing myself wearing this while running around the strawberry fields picking berries this summer!

These Mickey Cherry Overalls are really cute too.  I have a Mickey cherry handbag that I've had for years... and it would look really cute with these!

This Minnie Polka Dot Shirt is giving me Valentine's Day Cruella de Vil vibes.

This Mickey and Minnie Shirt is cute... but it doesn't scream Valentines day to me.

They also made a few items that match each other.  First there's this cute Winnie the Pooh Mini Backpack with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

Then, this Winnie the Pooh Tank Top matches the backpack.  Super cute!!!

I've also seen this adorable Mickey and Minnie Mini Backpack online.  I thought it was cute but I didn't think that I needed it... until I saw the final item in this post.

I'm ending my post with my other favorite item from the collection.  I really love this Mickey and Minnie Skirtall.  I've bought a lot of these lately, and they're really cute.  I love how this one has the little heart buttons!  It also matches the backpack!  This design is fun, a little flirty and perfect for Valentine's Day!

I think these outfits and accessories are super sweet, and not just because a lot of them have strawberries and cherries all over them!  These pieces are sure to add a little bit of magic to your February.  Plus, they're all perfect for Valentine's Day!  °o°

National Polka Dot Day 2022

Happy National Polka Dot Day!!!  Every January 22nd, Disney fashionistas celebrate our favorite polka dot loving style icon, Minnie Mouse!!!

January 22nd has pretty much become the day to celebrate Minnie Mouse.  Disney goes above and beyond for Mickey Mouse on his birthday.  But since he and Minnie both debuted in Steamboat Willie, they technically share a "birthday" on November 18th.  That doesn't help sell extra merchandise though, so in recent years, Disney has split their special days to November 18th for Mickey and January 22nd for Minnie.

The past few years, I haven't really gone anywhere on National Polka Dot Day so I haven't even bothered to dress up for it.  This year, I told myself I was going to dress up this weekend whether I had plans to go out or not!  Luckily for me, Jeremy is visiting Eliot and me this weekend since his birthday is tomorrow.

The other day, I decided to break out a few of the polka dot cardigan tops that I bought last year.  They are called cardigans, but they're actually made out of t-shirt like, jersey knit material.  I thought they'd be perfect to wear over tank tops in the spring and summer.  I have them in four different color ways, but since I wanted to channel Minnie Mouse, I decided to pick from the black/white, white/black or red/white versions.

I really wanted to wear my new cinch belt (from Santa this past Christmas!) and my new Femme de Bloom Minnie Mouse polka dot earrings that literally came in the mail this morning.  I decided to go with the white/black polka dot version, with a red tank top and black leggings and I accessorized with the red belt and earrings!  This was an easy, cute and comfortable outfit to wear this weekend for National Polka Dot Day and to wear in honor of the polka dot fashionista herself, Minnie Mouse!

Finally, I thought that I'd share this cute video that Disney emailed me earlier today.  I thought it was a cute way to celebrate Minnie Mouse, her positivity and her affinity for bright and fun polka dots!  May we all have a little more Minnie in us!

I hope you all have a fun filled weekend just like our favorite polka dotted mouse friend!

#tbt D23 Expo 2019 Merchandise

It's time for another throwback post.  Today, I thought we'd travel back two years to the 2019 D23 Expo.  Eliot and I decided to skip it that year, and I was a little bit bummed out.  The 2019 D23 Expo looked like it was so much fun!  I didn't have a chance to explore social media much, but from the posts I did see, it looked like a blast!  There were so many announcements about new things coming to the Disney Parks too!

Even though we couldn't go, Eliot's mom Nori still went and she was able to get most of the stuff we asked her to try to get for us!  This was actually a blog post that I wrote most of... but then I didn't take photos so I never posted it!  (I should note that most of these items have been safely tucked away by my vanity while Eliot and I reorganize our bedroom.  I was so excited to take them out!)  Clearly this post is overdue, but I didn't want to skip it because I was so excited about sharing everything with you!

So without further ado, let's check out our merchandise from the 2019 D23 Expo!

Disney Dream Store

The Dream Store was the location where most of the merchandise we were interested in was being sold.  Each year, there are usually a few collections released.  There were two main collections that were released inside the Disney Dream Store this year- The Dapper Dans and Disneyland Mickey Balloons.  Of course, I fell in love with both.

Eliot and I picked our favorite items from each collection and I held my breath that they wouldn't sell out before Nori was able to get into the store.  Honestly, I wasn't really expecting her to get most of it.  I assumed it would sell out almost instantly with people trying to sell everything on eBay.  (I was shocked when she texted to let us know that she got all but one thing!)  Here's what we got from these two collections:

Dapper Dan Dress- I love this Dapper Dan dress so much!!!  I'm so glad they made it in red because I can use it for everyday visits and as well as the holiday season!

Dapper Dan Spirit Jersey- This has to be the cutest Spirit Jersey ever!!!

Mickey Balloon Skirt- This balloon skirt is highly sought after in the Disney Dress Shop community and it's almost impossible to find now.  I can't believe I actually have one!  (I couldn't remember what item Nori couldn't find and I was afraid it was going to be this skirt.  I was so excited when I opened it!)  I can't wait to wear it to Disneyland!

Mickey Balloon Spirit Jersey- I think this might just be my favorite Spirit Jersey that I own.  I love the pink and blue tie dye and the balloons are so much fun!!!

D23 Adult Tee- We both got this shirt!  We love how it has Disneyland on the back!

Ladies All Over Balloon Tee- I love this fun shirt with Mickey balloons all over it!

Dapper Dans Funko Pop Vinyls- Eliot and I had Nori get two sets of the Dapper Dan Funko Pops.  I think one set will probably live with our Disneyland display in our living room and the other set can go with our Funko Pop Vinyls for now!

Dapper Dans Mickey and Friends Plush- We also had Nori get these Dapper Dan plushes.  She used them as her carry on from CA to ME so they're definitely special!

Balloons Collection Metal Sign- We've had this cute sign on our living room wall since she gave it to us two years ago.  It's going to live with our Disneyland display.

Trinket Tray- I also got this cute trinket tray.  I thought it would be cute on my vanity.  I love how it has little Mickey balloons representing many of the Disney Park attractions!

Disney Store

The Disney Store shop usually has more of the limited edition collectible stuff at the D23 Expo.  It's weird because some of the stuff will come online to Shop Disney and other things are expo exclusives.  (I was so overwhelmed going in there when we were at the 2017 D23 Expo.)  This year, Eliot and I didn't really have many things that we were looking for.  There weren't any Masquerade Dolls that I wanted in the shop, but Nori was able to pre-order my set of the dolls coming to Shop Disney and Disney Stores over the following few months.  I didn't get my dolls until after all of the dolls were released individually, but it was so much more relaxing knowing that I had all of them on order and didn't have to try to get each of them!  Aren't they gorgeous!?!

BoxLunch

This was the first year (as far as I know) that BoxLunch was at the expo with a booth of merchandise set up.  They released this Minnie and Giraffe Loungefly backpack that I fell in love with.  It was eventually sold in thstores; Eliot and I even saw one during our Six Flags trip, but I was glad I didn't have to look for it.

Happy Feet

This was silly, but Eliot and I both loved these Sorcerer Mickey Slippers.  This design was an exclusive to the D23 Expo and I have no regrets!  They're so cute!!!

Sun-Staches

Nori happened across these cute sunglasses and she thought we'd like them.  After texting me pictures, I picked 5 that we wanted.  They had a deal where you buy so many of them for a certain price.  They're really cute.  I wanted to wear the Christmas ones on Castaway Cay during our cruises but I forgot to pack them!  Next time!!!

Disney Books

The final thing I got was the Disney Costuming Book.  I was shocked when I saw how large it was.  The pictures are beautiful.  I'm excited to read about all of the costumes, especially since I wasn't able to see them on display and in person at the expo!

Eliot and I are both so incredibly grateful that Nori was able to get all of this for us!

Hopefully, Eliot and I will be able to attend the next D23 Expo.  Due to the coronavirus pandemic, they pushed this year's event to next year.  If all goes as planned, the next D23 Expo is scheduled to be in Anaheim from September 9th to the 11th of 2022.  °o°
