Magical Merchandise: Disney Princess Sequin Loungefly Collection

Happy Marathon Monday!  Today we're having a cool, rainy and dreary day here in New England.  It's one of those gray days when it's kind of depressing and you just want to cuddle up on the couch.  Instead, I figured I would fight against the 'blah' with something sparkly and fun!  I had no idea what I wanted to write about for Magical Merchandise Monday, but when I got thinking about it, this was the perfect idea!

At this point, I'm sure that you've caught on to my Loungefly obsession.  Starting in June of last year, Loungefly has been releasing a Disney Princess Sequin Collection featuring all twelve of the official Disney Princesses.  (Obviously, shiny, sparkly and princesses was right up my alley.)  I've been buying them and patiently waiting to share this post when the collection was complete.  Loungefly just released the last bag in the collection two weeks ago on April 3rd and mine came in the mail the other day.

The bags are absolutely beautiful.  I'm already a sucker for any of their sequin bags, but the fact that these were all princess themed completely sold me.  The details on them are perfect and they definitely resemble each Disney Princess.  Each bag also had a matching wallet.  (I didn't buy all of the wallets, but I did get a few that I liked.)

As for the bags, I have all of them except Tiana and Mulan.  I made a grave error when Tiana didn't sell out right away.  I thought that I'd have another day or two to purchase her, and I was waiting to get paid from Etsy.  But in the meantime, she ended up selling out and I missed her.  The bag is still online with a "Notify Me" button, so most people assume that they might restock her, but I'm skeptical as to if that's real or a website malfunction.  (I'm still signed up either way though- just in case!)  And Mulan has been sitting there like a few of the other bags so I was trying to wait to buy her (and a few of the holiday bags) until we got our tax refund.

Of the entire collection, Rapunzel is my favorite.  She's my favorite princess anyways, and the one that I relate to the most, so that's probably not a surprise.  However, the bag was so gorgeous that it was love at first sight.  I love how they included the floral pattern of her skirt on the bag.  In fact, I loved it so much, that I begged Jeremy to order an extra for me so I can use it without worry about it getting ruined!

The only disappointment was the Snow White bag.  It doesn't bother me too much, but a lot of people were really upset that they changed the location of the tag on the last bag.  The entire collection has the plaque at the center under the bow, and then they moved the Snow White one.  I understand that they didn't want to cover her collar, but it's unfortunate they made this design decision on the last bag in the collection.  (A girl in one of my Facebook groups moved hers and it still looked fine.)

I can't wait to display this gorgeous collection in our master bedroom.  I've decided to hang two shelves in my vanity area and I'm planning to put this collection on one of the shelves.  (Then, the other one can house my Cinderella and Rapunzel bags!)  I'm so excited to see them once they're all displayed together!

If you're interested in this collection, most of them are sold out online, but you might be able to find a personal shopper to pick them up from one of the Funko Stores.  (Or you can spend lots of money to get them on the secondary market... what I might end up doing just to get my hands on Tiana.)  However, Loungefly is doing a giveaway from now through April 21st over on their Instagram account to celebrate hitting one million followers.  They're giving away an entire set of these to one lucky person!

I don't know about you, but these sparkly gems definitely brightened my day!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: Minnie Baublebar Bag Charms

Happy Monday friends!

I'm slowly getting back to the swing of things here at home.  It's been a crazy week, but Eliot and I are hanging in.  Today is actually my brother Jeremy's birthday, so I also want to take a minute to acknowledge that.  (I hope you have a wonderful day Jer!)

Since I'm trying to get back on track, I thought that I'd share a merchandise post with you.  I have the perfect fun post of something new that I'm dying to share with you.  For a while now, I've showed you Baublebar's jewelry and a few of their Mickey Mouse bag charms.  (They're so fun and sparkly!)  Well the other day, they debuted an entire new bag charm collection of our favorite stylish mouse icon, Minnie Mouse!!!

The new Minnie Mouse bag charm collection was released back on January 18th, just a few days before National Polka Dot Day yesterday.  However, there was a nod that something might be in the works since they released these coordinating Mickey and Minnie bag charms back on January 12th.  (I was like "wait, what?!? Minnie!!!")

I was 100% completely obsessed with the Mickey and Minnie charms... especially since they were in their classic outfits!  Then, I saw the hints that they were releasing more Minnie Mouse designs.  Ever since then, I've definitely kept my eyes peeled for an email in my inbox!  And they're finally here!  So let's check them out!

One of the first ones that caught my eye was the Minnie Picnic design.  This reminds me of typical Minnie Mouse, super sweet and playful.  The little basket with the fruit in it is adorable.  I have no idea what bag I'd put it on... but I might have to get this one!

The Minnie Athleisure design is perfect to add a little "charm" to your gym bag.

I love how cute this Minnie Ballerina charm is.  I really love the soft pink colors!

The Minnie Rock 'N Roll design looks like it incorporates rose gold and lots of sparkle!

Speaking of sparkle, the Minnie Black Tie charm has plenty of that!  This one would be perfect to wear to special events... and it reminds me of New Year's Eve too!

The Minnie Fashionista is dressed for a casual day filled with fun and fashion!

There's even a Spa Day design for when Minnie needs a little "me time" and relaxation.

Ok, so I am completely obsessed with the Minnie Pool Party charm.  Last summer, I bought the unicorn pool floatie Baublebar earrings and a pool party glasses topper from Pair Eyewear.  (Click this affiliate link for $25 off your first order!)  I most definitely need to get this design as well.  It's perfect for summer!!!

Another one that spoke to me was obviously the Minnie Artist design.  I think I literally gasped out loud when I first saw this one.  If I had to be one of these Minnie charms... this is me!  Covered in paint and happy as can be!  I hope they eventually make a matching Mickey Mouse... how cute would those be for the Festival of the Arts?!?

Last, but certainly not least, is the Minnie Bride charm.  It isn't available on the website yet, but Baublebar has told many people on social media that it will be soon.  I most definitely need to get this one too.  Once a Disney Bride, always a Disney Bride!!!

They are all so cute!  Baublebar definitely hit it out of the park with these.  I am so excited to see what else they come up with.  I can't even begin to tell you how excited I am to see what they come up with for the holidays now that they're also making Minnie Mouse charms!  I have a feeling that my life is about to get much more sparkly!!!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: An Uplifting Harveys Collection

Today, I'm doing something a bit different for my magical merchandise post; instead of telling you about products that just dropped, this is more of a flashback of merchandise that was released a year ago.  I wanted to write about it back then, but Eliot and I were really busy last year at this time as Disneyland was finally re-opening and we had a ton of mouse ear orders to make.  So I'll tell you all about it now!  Plus, the anniversary of this film was yesterday... and I thought this was a great way to celebrate it!

A little over a year ago, I was preparing for the Harveys release that I've been waiting years for... Disney Pixar's Up.  As my wallet quivered in fear, I practically shook with excitement and anticipation.  This new Harveys seatbelt handbag collection was stunning, and as we'd later find out, the release was so large that it had to be done over two separate releases!  (Part 1 was on March 19th and Part 2 on April 15th.)

Like many other Harveys fans, I've patiently waited years for the Up collection to make it's debut.  The past few years, Harveys has usually released a Pixar collection in the spring.  (In 2019 it was Toy Story and in 2020 it was Monsters Inc.)  I'm a huge fan of Pixar movies and their storytelling.  These Pixar Harveys collections are usually the ones where I've bought multiple items in each release.

As soon as I saw the teasers from Harveys... I knew my wallet was doomed.

Up is one of my all time favorite Disney Pixar films... it might even be my favorite.  I've always loved the story, the imagery, and all of the things you can pull from the movie.  I wanted to do an Up themed room in our house, but we were running out of rooms!  For now, I've decided to make an Up Section of our living room.  Whenever I see any Up merchandise, I usually grab it for the house.  I also have a pretty large collection of Up clothing and accessories.  It's another weakness of mine!

Thankfully, Harveys did this movie right and the collections were stunning!  Let's take a look at some of my favorite items from both releases!

Part 1 Release (March 19, 2021)

Skinny Scarf- I love this!  It's perfect to tie in your hair or on a handbag handle!

Wilderness Explorer Lanyard- Eliot and I both got one of these!  He wants to use his for his ID at work and I thought it would be good to wear to the parks!

Up Pins- I love these pins and how they match the all over print.  Harveys always puts their pin sets in super cute packaging ready to display too!

Up Balloon House Coin Purse- This coin purse is so bright and adorable!

Up Shirt- I bought Eliot and I these matching t-shirts.  Not only will they match my Harveys handbags, but they're really cute and fun to wear to the parks!

Balloon Click and Carry- I thought this was perfect for the Up handbags as well as a fun addition to other bags!  It would be perfect to wear around my birthday!

Up Convertible Crossbody- This bag is so cute!  I love how it's the perfect size!

Up Streamline Tote- This is the larger version of the all over print!

Russell Park Hopper- I absolutely love this bag.  I love the Wilderness Explorer outfit and this bag is so much fun!  I love the badge pattern on the backpack straps too!

Kevin Vacation Tote- This was "the" popular bag during the first release.  Eliot agreed to be in charge of getting one for me and it worked!  It definitely sold out quickly!  The colors in this bag are absolutely gorgeous!  I'm in love!!!

Part 2 Release (April 15, 2021)

Grape Soda Headband- The second release had a bunch of Grape Soda bottle cap items.  The first was this headband with a bow.

Grape Soda Shopper Tote- This reusable bag is made from the bag liner material!

Grape Soda Coin Purse- I love this coin purse!  It's both fun and practical.

Up Click and Carry- I love this strap that matches the all over print bags!

Adventure Book Foldover Crossbody- This bag was one that I absolutely had to get; it's a smaller bag, but it packs a punch in how adorable it is!

Up Wanderlust Tote Bag- This was "the" popular bag of the second release.  It's giant and absolutely amazing.  And the colors in it are gorgeous!

Thankfully, I have a very supportive husband and an incredible brother.  Eliot knew that I've been waiting for an Up Harveys collection so he didn't even bat an eye when I said I wanted most of it.  I knew it would be hard to get all of the items since it was going to be popular.  That's where Jeremy comes in.  I enlisted Jeremy to help us, and we all came up with a plan for both releases in order to get everything I wanted.  It takes a village, and thanks to both Jeremy and Eliot's help, we were able to get everything!

And while it cost me a pretty penny, I have absolutely no regrets.  Of all my Harveys bags, these are my favorites.  My Harveys Up bags are bright, colorful and so much fun!  They are everything I could have ever wanted and so much more.  Whenever I'm having a bad day, they always cheer me up!  They're my own little collection of uplifting cheerfulness.  I can't help but smile whenever I see them!

I hope you enjoyed my trip down memory lane!  And another big thank you to Eliot and Jeremy for helping me with this release.  I truly treasure my Harveys Up collection!

Happy 13th Birthday to Disney Pixar's Up!!!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: Harveys Orange Bird Collection

Happy Monday Friends!!!  Today, I have a bright and cheerful merchandise release to share that's appropriate for the season.  I'm so excited that spring is starting to arrive in Maine!  The weather has been warming up, things are starting to bloom and our grass is green again!  It's only a matter of time before everything is finally green!!!  It's got me in a sunshiney mood- so what better collection to share than one filled with sunshine!

When I think of the sunshine state, I can't help but think of our little friend Orange Bird.

You now know the extent of my Harveys obsession.  This is a release that I could only hope for... and never dreamed might actually become a reality one day!  But all of that changed back on Easter Sunday, when Harveys released a photo of their upcoming release for Disney Parks... an Orange Bird collection to go along with the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Vault Collection!  Oh my goodness!!!  It's perfection!!!

Naturally, I knew that I'd have to get something from the collection.  This past Saturday, the release took place at the Co-Op in Disney Springs.  Melanie and Dana Harvey were there in person to greet customers and sign bags.  Thankfully, Shop Disney finally got with the times and announced that the bags would eventually make it online for those of us not able to attend the release.  Let's check out what was available!!!

We're starting small and working our way up.  The first item is an Orange Bird hair scarf.  You can wear it in your hair, around your neck, or tie to to your bag.  No matter what you do with it, it will add a little pop of color and cheer to your outfit!

The next item is this adorable plush Orange Bird bag.  I haven't bought any of the other Harveys plush bags... but that might have to change.  This bag would be perfect to wear with my Orange Bird Disney Dress Shop Dress!  Plus, he's incredibly cute!!!

My absolute favorite part of the collection is the tote bag.  I love, love, love how they put the pattern on a purple bag.  It probably won't go with my navy dress, but it's so springy and fun that I don't care.  I'll find something to wear with the bag, I love it that much!  I love all of the little orange blossoms and music notes tucked in beside this little cutie!  This is definitely my must have item from this collection!!!

Finally, there was a gift with purchase available at the Disney Springs release event this weekend.  I'm hoping that this will eventually find it's way online as well... but it's unlikely as Harveys has never created a click and go for Shop Disney to sell.

However, I'm still planning to get the other items in the collection.  Eliot and I both love Orange Bird and he reminds me of going to Disney when I was a child.  These bags are perfect for spring, the Flower and Garden Festival and anytime you need a little bit of sunshine in your life!  I'm hoping they brought a little bit of sunshine to your day!

In the meantime... I'll be thinking orange thoughts and stalking Shop Disney!  °o°

Small Shop: Sew Minnie Style

Happy Saturday Friends!  It's been a few days since my last post so I thought I'd drop in today with another small shop post.  One of my favorite Etsy shops right now is Sew Minnie Style.  It also made an appearance in my Flower and Garden Festival post a few weeks ago, but I wanted to do a dedicated post for it!  I've purchased a few things from this shop, and I've been very impressed with everything that I have received.

I first discovered Sew Minnie Style when Jenna was mostly making and selling her super cute shoe bows.  Someone on Instagram had posted a photo of their shoes with these adorable little Minnie Mouse bows on them.  I immediately had to go investigate the shop tagged in the photo to see where they came from!

After discovering the shoe bows, I quickly discovered that she sold other items in her shop too.  Jenna was also the creator behind the super cute bow fanny packs!  Not only are these absolutely amazing, but they're super practical too!  These bow fanny packs are stylish and useful!  I need to get one... I just need to decide on a color!

More recently, Jenna started making adorable crossbody bags.  That's where I got hooked.  She's had a bunch of different designs in her Sew Minnie Style shop the past few years.  There's always a seasonal offering, so you have to follow her on Instagram in order to keep track of what's being released and when.

Naturally, yours truly was obsessed with the holiday designs.  I'm such a sucker for anything Disney and the holidays.  And I love cute accessories to complete my outfit!

I've also been attracted to the seasonal designs.  I fell head over heels for the Mickey Paint Palette Crossbody Bag.  As a creative person also obsessed with the Festival of the Arts, this was something that I absolutely needed in my life!  In fact, it was part of the first order that I placed from Sew Minnie Style back in March of last year.

As I told you in my Flower and Garden post, I also have the Minnie topiary bag.  I love the topiaries at the festival and this was the perfect way to bring a little of that magic home with me into my everyday life!  It's also really soft and fluffy!  This was the other bag in my first order.  I was so impressed with them when they arrived!

After that, I placed my second order less than two months later.  I had been admiring the Orange Bird bag for a while and I needed to add him to my collection.  He's made in more of a neon orange color, but I love how bright and fun he is!

Finally, the other bag in my second order was the Pastel Rainbow Mickey Balloon Crossbody bag.  I loved all of the Mickey balloon bags and this was my favorite.  I loved the fun colors in it and it's so pretty in person.  Jenna has recently retired the Mickey Balloon bags, but maybe they'll make a reappearance down the road!

Jenna has also expanded to making home decor items.  She's made a few pillows; I really wanted to get the Orange Bird and Figment pillows.  Originally, I was going to get Eliot one of each for his Christmas present, but then she never re-stocked them in her store.  I started to give up when the most magical thing happened...

I was randomly scrolling through Instagram and I discovered that Jenna had made Figment and Orange Bird Christmas Stockings.  I immediately knew that we needed them, and that was what I was going to get Eliot for his Christmas presents last year.

I stopped everything and went over to her shop to buy them.  She still had Orange Bird in stock, but Figment had already sold out.  She had asked if anyone else wanted any on Instagram, so I popped back over there to tell her I wanted a Figment.  I also sent her a message on Etsy that it was ok to wait to mail out my Orange Bird until I had acquired the Figment stocking as well.

Jenna went above and beyond to make sure that I got both the Orange Bird and Figment stockings for Eliot's Christmas present.  She sold out of him a second time and I missed him again.  She made one more batch and each time she listed them, she sent me a message so I'd know.  (I was covering at the office so I missed it when I usually would have been right on my laptop at home.)  I finally ended up getting the last one in stock, and that might have actually been the last one she listed last year.

Jenna was also great about changing the address on my order.  I bought both of them so quickly that I didn't have time to change my address.  I sent them to my parents' house instead, so Eliot wouldn't accidentally open the package.  I was so excited to give them to him Christmas morning and Eliot absolutely loved them when he opened them up.  He had no idea what I'd gotten him and he was really surprised.  They will be a cherished decoration and hung somewhere special each Christmas.

One other product that's more new in the shop is the nuiMO Mickey Balloons.  Disney's little nuiMO plushes are taking over and these balloons are perfect for your tiny friend!

She even made a version for Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary!  Sooo cute!!!

I'm always keeping an eye on Instagram to see what new crossbody bag designs she's created.  Jenna recently added a new Pluto crossbody to her Sew Minnie Style shop that's so cute.  I might have to get him to match all of the Disney dogs merchandise that I have!  I've also got my eye on the Mickey Waffle and Figment crossbody bags.

I'm also anxiously awaiting the return of Chip and Dale to her shop!  They're so cute!!!

I can't wait to see what other characters and crossbody designs Jenna's got up her sleeves!  I'm certainly hooked on them!  Plus, the bags are lightweight, well-made and they ship very quickly since they're already made and ready to go to their new homes!

If you're looking for a cute accessory that will pull your outfit together, and make your day much more magical, then Sew Minnie Style is definitely a shop that you'll want to check out!!!  These cute products are sure to make anyone smile!  °o°
