Registration for RunDisney Virtual Disney 100 Summer Races

Another day, another RunDisney race to sign up for!  This morning was the registration for the RunDisney Virtual Summer Series of 5K races... and since this year's medals are themed to the Disney 100 Celebration, I was certainly not missing out on those!

I love doing the virtual races, and I've signed up for quite a few of them.  We haven't actually walked all of them, but I've set my medals aside so I can earn them before I hang them up.  Eliot doesn't see the point in signing up for the races since he likes the in person events.  But as someone who can't do more than a 10K, I find it motivating to push myself more at home.  I think virtual races are great.  Plus, by signing up for the 2023 virtual marathon, I made sure that I walked those 26.2 miles to earn it while I was at Disney World back in January.  (Compared to that, these three 5Ks are nothing!)

At about 9:45 AM, I got on the website to start waiting for registration to open.  Sign ups for virtual races usually aren't too big of a hassle.  The waiting room kept telling me that I had between 2 and 4 (and 2 and 4 and 2 and 4) minutes left as it bounced back and forth between those times.  Then, out of nowhere I was ready to enter at 9:53... but the race didn't even officially gone on sale until 10 AM.

I was puzzled, and then I promptly got kicked back to the main page.  At that point, it wouldn't let me click any of the registration links.  I opened Chrome and got into that line... that was "recalculating" forever.  After a panicked phone call to Eliot, it was 10 AM and the original webpage on my Safari opened directly to log me into my account.

Less than 4 minutes later, I was registered for the 2023 RunDisney Virtual Challenge!

It was a relief to be registered after those 10-15 minutes of confusion.  Afterwards, I gathered my stuff to go out to the truck.  On the way to class, I called Eliot to let him know that I was all set and that he could close the registration waiting room webpage he had opened.  I was a few minutes late to sewing class again, but it was worth it!

So now, Eliot and I are doing all of the Disney 100 themed Virtual RunDisney Summer 5K Races.  (I signed myself up, but we do them together and share the medals.)  The three individual themes are Sorcerer Mickey for June, Steamboat Willie for July and Runaway Railway Mickey for August.  Then, when you do the challenge and complete all three of those races, you also get a special Disney 100 medal with Mickey and Minnie in their Disney 100 Celebration outfits (if you signed up for the challenge).

We probably won't get the medals until August, but I'm still excited.  We sometimes try to dress up for these, so I might try to Disneybound as Mickey for them.  Eliot and I usually just go on a walk around Witch Hole Pond since that's about 3 miles, but maybe we'll switch it up this year.  We could go on the Eastern Trail that we haven't walked on for years now, or maybe we'll find a new place to explore!

No matter where Eliot and I do our 5Ks, I'm sure we'll have a swell time!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: Live Action Little Mermaid Collection

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope you had a "swimmingly" wonderful weekend!

Today, I'm back with another new merchandise collection that dropped on the Shop Disney website earlier this morning.  The new live action Little Mermaid film is coming to theaters in about a month, and the first products have "fin-ally" made their way into our world!  I've been waiting to "sea" what they would make for the movie, and I think it's the bubbles!  So let's dive under the sea to explore my favorites in the collection!

There's been a lot of adults complaining about Disney remaking their classic films into live action, but I love it.  And let's face it, they're trying to make these movies matter to today's kids.  So that spirit, we're starting off with a few products made for the target audience.  I think little girls are going to adore this Ariel Singing Doll; she's so beautiful!

If I was a little girl, I would definitely want this Ariel and Sisters Doll Set!

This Ariel Plush Doll is perfect to snuggle in bed with!

Since I'm not a little girl anymore, I'm into other things... like fashion, accessories and jewelry!  One of my favorites are bags... like this Little Mermaid Loungefly Backpack!

If you're looking for something more casual, check out this Little Mermaid Belt Bag.

There's also a clear Little Mermaid Handbag.

I love earrings, and symmetrical earrings are popular right now.  This Little Mermaid Earring Set will have you sparkling like the sea gem you are.

The Little Mermaid Necklace looks like it matches the motif of the collection.

Finally, for accessories we have the Little Mermaid Mouse Ear Headband for Adults... because what's a day at Disney parks without mouse ears?!?!

Switching gears to clothing, this Little Mermaid Denim Jacket for Women was the first thing that caught my eye.  I love the details and how some of them are embroidered!

The denim jacket would look great with this Little Mermaid Dress for Women.  This item seems to be the most popular and it's selling out fast!  (But it's also in the parks!)

If you want your own Prince Eric to match your new dress, this Little Mermaid Woven Shirt for Men would coordinate perfectly for a ride around the kingdom together.

I really like this Little Mermaid Sleep Set for Women.  It looks so comfortable!

I'm absolutely in love with this Little Mermaid Spirit Jersey for Adults.  I adore the graphic on the back, and I'm a sucker for jewel tones and glitter... just like the text!

Finally, we're rounding out our merchandise peek with this Little Mermaid T-Shirt for Women.  I also love the graphics and colors on this.  I might have to get it to wear to the movie.  I've got a few outfits in mind and this would be perfect for one of them!

What do you think?  I know there's a lot of talk about this movie online, but I'm excited for it.  I love the live action movies and I love how they always bring their own fresh take on the tales we all know and love.  (Plus, I'm not complaining about extra focus on new The Little Mermaid merchandise right now.)  I personally love this collection and I can't wait for the movie to come out next month!!!  °o°

Earth Day 2023 and Animal Kingdom's 25th Birthday

Happy Earth Day!!!  It's also Animal Kingdom's 25th Birthday today!

I remember back when Animal Kingdom first opened back when I was a kid.  At the time, I must have been in the 7th grade.  I was so excited that Disney was adding another theme park to my favorite place in the world.  Like most other guests, I was most excited about the safari ride and seeing all of the animals throughout the park!

Nowadays, Eliot and I don't spend as much time at the park as we do some of the others.  (I'm obviously a Magic Kingdom girl and we tend to visit Epcot quite a bit.)  But since we started traveling to Walt Disney World together back over New Year's Eve of 2018/2019, Animal Kingdom has definitely gone from one of our "half day" parks to a full day.  We still love the safari ride.  Eliot is a fan of Everest and Flight of Passage, and I'm still all about the Nemo and Lion King shows.

We're hopeful that the rumors about Moana coming to where the Dinosaur stuff was recently dismantled is true.  I would definitely visit that over and over again!

Speaking of characters, it was so nice to see so many of our favorite friends at the big Animal Kingdom 25th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony this morning.  Naturally, a bunch of Disney bloggers were there to capture it for those of us unable to attend in person.  This is a great front row seat to the show from the left side!

Here's another video of that same celebration from the center.  This isn't as great of a view, but you get a better idea of the overall ceremony.

I think this was a great way to kick of the park's 25th Anniversary!  Mickey, Minnie and the gang all came in their safari gear.  Chip and Dale were there in their adorable dinosaur costumes!  I love how Dug, Russell and Kevin from Up were there; running into Kevin is one of my favorite things!  Nemo, Dory, Squirt and Crush were there from the Finding Nemo show.  And they also included Rafiki and Timon from the Festival of the Lion King, as well as some of the other performers from the show.  Starting the 25th celebration with the live drum performance was the perfect touch and really set the mood for a magical day!  And all of the birds flying at the end were the icing on top!

Happy Birthday Animal Kingdom!  May you continue to amaze us with your natural beauty while you teach us about wildlife, nature and conservation!!! °o°

Fun Find: Making Wonder YouTube Series

Happy Friday Everyone!

How is is already Friday?  I feel like this week just started and here we are at the end of it.  I wasn't planning to swing by today, but I found a few videos that intrigued me; once I watched them, I knew that I had to share them with you for Fun Find Friday!

The Disney YouTube channel is doing a new series called "Making Wonder" as part of the Disney 100 Celebration.  A few days ago, they debuted this teaser introducing the new series.  The series will be exclusive to the Disney YouTube channel, and it will feature incredible Lego builds and collaborations with different creators.

The first video in the series just dropped and it features Disney Princess inspired go karts made with Legos!  Let me just tell you, my jaw dropped at how awesome this entire video was!  I love this and can't wait for more videos in the series!!!

I am completely obsessed with the go karts, as well as the outfits and the matching helmets!  I want one!  I would totally race down our road with one of these!

And these videos are only the beginning.  If the trailer is any indicator, there is a lot more magic in store for us.  I can't wait to see what else they come up with!!!  °o°

Mom's Birthday

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...

Today is my Mom's Birthday!  I thought I'd pop in here for a minute to celebrate.  We don't have any big plans for today.  Eliot and Jeremy are both working, and since Mom and Dad just came off of tax season two days ago, they are pretty much in rest and recovery mode.  I'm sure they will do something to celebrate, but it probably won't be anything too major since they're both still exhausted.

I called Mom a little bit ago, and we talked for about an hour.  She said she was pretty much content staying in her pajamas and hanging out at the house... but they might go into town for dinner later on and to get out of the house for a little bit.

Plus, Jeremy Eliot and I are supposed to see them in a couple of weeks, and again over Mother's Day weekend, so I'm sure we'll get a chance to celebrate Mom then.

Happy Birthday Mom!  I hope you have a great day!  °o°

Our First Sea Dogs Game of the 2023 Season

Take me out to the ballgame...

Hi friends!  I wasn't planning to pop in, but I figured I'd hop over to share a quick tidbit; today, Eliot and I are going to our first Portland Sea Dogs game of the 2023 season!

It's hard to believe that we only went to our first ever Sea Dogs game back in July of last year.  Eliot and I have been to a quite a few since then, but we've obviously never gone so early in the season!  A few weekends ago, we sat down to go over the 2023 promotional schedule and to see if there were certain games we wanted to attend.  We picked out about 18 games that interested us... the first one being tonight!

Eliot bought our tickets back on April 5th when the Sea Dogs had a sale on general admission tickets for "A Dime A Degree".  It was 49° out at 9:00 am that morning, so all of the general admission tickets sold that day were only $4.90.  Eliot bought tickets to a few of the games we had our sights set on, but he didn't go too crazy.

There are a good mix of games throughout the season that Eliot and I are planning to attend.  We don't have any marked down for May yet, but we've got a lot going on that month anyways.  There are a bunch of games in June, July, August and September though.  We basically looked at the different nights and "themes" and figured out which ones that we wanted to try to attend.  We might not make it to all the ones we marked, and we'll probably go to some that we didn't originally circle, but that's ok!

Tonight's theme was to celebrate the 30th Season of the Portland Sea Dogs, so we thought this would be a good one to start the season off.  They're wearing their retro teal jerseys- which we always love.  (You know we love teal.)  We're not sure how it will be going to a game this early in the season.  The temperature at the start will be 53° at 6:00... but it's supposed to get down to 46° at 9:00.  We're planning to dress warm, bundle up, bring hats & gloves, and have a blanket with us to cover our legs.

So, it's the start to our first full season as Portland Sea Dogs fans!  Eliot and I are looking forward to having a lot of fun watching them this summer!  Go Sea Dogs!!!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: Disney Princess Sequin Loungefly Collection

Happy Marathon Monday!  Today we're having a cool, rainy and dreary day here in New England.  It's one of those gray days when it's kind of depressing and you just want to cuddle up on the couch.  Instead, I figured I would fight against the 'blah' with something sparkly and fun!  I had no idea what I wanted to write about for Magical Merchandise Monday, but when I got thinking about it, this was the perfect idea!

At this point, I'm sure that you've caught on to my Loungefly obsession.  Starting in June of last year, Loungefly has been releasing a Disney Princess Sequin Collection featuring all twelve of the official Disney Princesses.  (Obviously, shiny, sparkly and princesses was right up my alley.)  I've been buying them and patiently waiting to share this post when the collection was complete.  Loungefly just released the last bag in the collection two weeks ago on April 3rd and mine came in the mail the other day.

The bags are absolutely beautiful.  I'm already a sucker for any of their sequin bags, but the fact that these were all princess themed completely sold me.  The details on them are perfect and they definitely resemble each Disney Princess.  Each bag also had a matching wallet.  (I didn't buy all of the wallets, but I did get a few that I liked.)

As for the bags, I have all of them except Tiana and Mulan.  I made a grave error when Tiana didn't sell out right away.  I thought that I'd have another day or two to purchase her, and I was waiting to get paid from Etsy.  But in the meantime, she ended up selling out and I missed her.  The bag is still online with a "Notify Me" button, so most people assume that they might restock her, but I'm skeptical as to if that's real or a website malfunction.  (I'm still signed up either way though- just in case!)  And Mulan has been sitting there like a few of the other bags so I was trying to wait to buy her (and a few of the holiday bags) until we got our tax refund.

Of the entire collection, Rapunzel is my favorite.  She's my favorite princess anyways, and the one that I relate to the most, so that's probably not a surprise.  However, the bag was so gorgeous that it was love at first sight.  I love how they included the floral pattern of her skirt on the bag.  In fact, I loved it so much, that I begged Jeremy to order an extra for me so I can use it without worry about it getting ruined!

The only disappointment was the Snow White bag.  It doesn't bother me too much, but a lot of people were really upset that they changed the location of the tag on the last bag.  The entire collection has the plaque at the center under the bow, and then they moved the Snow White one.  I understand that they didn't want to cover her collar, but it's unfortunate they made this design decision on the last bag in the collection.  (A girl in one of my Facebook groups moved hers and it still looked fine.)

I can't wait to display this gorgeous collection in our master bedroom.  I've decided to hang two shelves in my vanity area and I'm planning to put this collection on one of the shelves.  (Then, the other one can house my Cinderella and Rapunzel bags!)  I'm so excited to see them once they're all displayed together!

If you're interested in this collection, most of them are sold out online, but you might be able to find a personal shopper to pick them up from one of the Funko Stores.  (Or you can spend lots of money to get them on the secondary market... what I might end up doing just to get my hands on Tiana.)  However, Loungefly is doing a giveaway from now through April 21st over on their Instagram account to celebrate hitting one million followers.  They're giving away an entire set of these to one lucky person!

I don't know about you, but these sparkly gems definitely brightened my day!  °o°

Boston Strong 10 Years Later…

It's been ten years since April 15th of 2013... It's weird how something can happen and sometimes it feels like forever ago and other times it feels like it was just yesterday.

But it's been ten years since my world was shook.  I can't believe it's already been 10 years.  There's a lot of tragedy and sadness in the world, but this was the first time it hit so close to home for me.  It was like my bubble of perceived safety had popped.  This was my city.  The city that Eliot and I had basically just moved away from.

April 15th was like any other April 15th for me.  It was Tax Day.  As the daughter of two accountants, I had that on my mind while I bopped around our rental house, off in my own little world.  I wasn't working anywhere at the time, as Eliot and I had just relocated to Maine in December.  We officially left our rental in Woburn, MA that March, so I was busy unpacking and settling the last of our possessions into the house.

At some point during the day, I took a break to get onto my computer, check my email, check Facebook... the usual.  And that was the moment when the world stopped.

There had been a bombing at the finish line of the Boston Marathon.

Like many other Americans, and especially Bostonians, I sat glued to the news.  For days, I sat and watched as the events unfolded: the aftermath, the victims and the lives lost, the suspects at large, an entire city being shut down, the pursuit and finally the killing of one suspect and the capture of the other.  It was terrifying.

The world can be a scary place, but this one hit me hard.  Eliot and I both had lots of friends still living or working in Boston and the surrounding area.  And of those friends, some of them were even at the Boston Marathon events.  It was terrifying to watch as friends posted online to "check in" and let everyone know they were alright.

I felt so helpless, but I wouldn't let the despair I felt take over.  I clung to hope, courage and even a little bit of defiance that this wasn't going to break us.  I bought a Boston Red Sox Hat and a Boston Strong t-shirt, where the proceeds from both went to the victims.  The city came together.  Big Papi delivered an epic speech at the next Red Sox game about this being our city.  People were a little bit kinder and more gentle with each other.  And from the darkness of evil, the goodness that came out of it prevailed.

My family went down to Boston in May of that year.  We saw the makeshift memorial- like all of the ones you see on tv where there's an endless sea of things left as tribute where something awful has happened.  The baseball hats, runners sneakers, stuffed animals and flowers threatened to take over Copely Square.  Seeing the outpouring of love located where something horrific took place, made me feel hopeful and yet broken at the same time.  Things like this aren't supposed to happen.

We went back again over Eliot's and my one year wedding anniversary when we went to a Red Sox game with my parents and Jeremy.  It was during that game that the Sox clinched the AL East Championship.  That fall, the Red Sox would go on to the World Series Finals, winning the 2013 Major League Baseball Championship.  It felt like it was almost fated.  It was only about 6 months after tragedy had stuck the city, and the elation of winning brought some happiness and hope back to a city still grieving.

And over time, Boston has slowly healed.  Although 4.15.13 is never forgotten.

A lot has changed since that April day ten years ago, but it's still there in the back of my mind.  I still remember it every time we go by the finish line in Copley Square.  It brings me back to that day and all of the emotions that I felt.  It's not as raw, but it's there.  And I'm sure that it always will be.

To all of those affected by the horrific events of that day, we haven't forgotten.  Time may have passed, but it's still there.  But all of the good that came from that day is still there too.  That's what I'm trying to focus on.  We lost far too much that day, and in the days that followed.  But from the evil also came goodness and hope.

And may we hang onto the togetherness and may we always be Boston Strong. °o°

Last Sharks Game of the Season

The night that I've been looking forward to and also dreading has arrived.  Tonight is the San Jose Sharks last game of the 2022-2023 regular season.  And I'm not going to sugarcoat it... this has been a long season- filled with depressing losses, blown leads and only 8 wins on home ice.  But, there were also some highlights.

Today, we're focusing on those highlights, because regardless of how tonight's game goes, we're ending the season at the bottom of the league.  Other than how high our percentage of lottery luck towards the NHL draft is, this game doesn't mean anything.

So, let's take a look back at some of the highlights from this season:

The Sharks started their season off overseas as part of the NHL's Global Series.  They had a scrimmage game in Berlin, Germany against a local team and then kicked off the season with two games against the Nashville Predators in the Czech Republic.

Eliot and I had so much fun at Opening Weekend at the Shark Tank!  We met most of this year's team on the Teal Carpet and got a bunch of photos and a few autographs.

I just about melted when I met Timo and got his autograph on my jersey.

We attended the Doug Wilson Recognition Night when the Sharks lifted a banner to honor their former General Manager and player.

Flashing forward to mid-season, it was fun to watch Erik Karlsson during the All-Star Weekend.  This is the first year that he was there with his kids.  His daughter Harlow was out on the ice with him during the Skills Competition and she was such a cutie!

During the All-Star Weekend break, Tomas Hertl went to Disneyland with his wife and son Tobias.  It has absolutely nothing to do with our season, but it was fun to see one of the guys at Eliot's and my favorite place!  Fun must be always!!!

Eliot and I were blessed to go out to San Jose a second time this season in February.

During our second trip, we attended the San Jose Sharks Alumni Game with his entire family.  We got to see many Sharks legends and we also checked out the Barracuda's new arena where the game was held!

We went to Sharks practice and were able to see Timo at his last practice before he got traded to the New Jersey Devils.  He stopped his car on his way out of the player's parking lot to sign a puck and trading card for us.

Eliot and I met bunch of Sharks Alumni on the Teal Carpet.  We took photos with our favorite players and Eliot got autographs on his trading cards and older jerseys.

We got "Jumbo" Joe Thornton's autograph on a puck!

We also got Patrick Marleau's autograph on a puck and Eliot's jersey!

We attended Patrick Marleau's Jersey Retirement Night and watched as his number 12 was raised up to the rafters of the SAP Center... the first Sharks number retired.

We watched Timo adjust and then thrive with the New Jersey Devils.

There were a few new additions to the Sharks family as we welcomed some Baby Sharks this season.  Tomas Hertl and his wife Aneta had another son, Theo and about a week or so later, Kevin Labanc and his wife Kelly welcomed their son Eric.  We also just found out the other day that Captain Logan Couture and his fiancée Brielle are expecting and that he'll become a father in the next few weeks!

Speaking of additions to the Sharks family, the past few weeks, we've had lot of new Sharks debuting on ice.  The end of the season is always full of new potential as the college season ends, but it's extra busy when your team isn't doing well.  The coaches usually bring up a lot of younger players to expose them to the NHL level of play, and to see how they handle the opportunity.  Eliot and I have enjoyed watching these new guys and cheering for their first points and goals!

Which brings us to the end of the season... and thankfully, we're ending the season on a few good notes.  As I already stated, the San Jose Sharks position in the standings isn't so great, but there have been a few individuals whose efforts have paid off.  A few Sharks, and former Sharks, hit some major milestones this past week.

Last Thursday, former Shark Timo Meier scored goal number 39 and 40.  I wasn't sure if he was going to make it to 40 goals after he got traded to New Jersey.  He hasn't been playing as many minutes, and he's playing on the 3rd line instead of the 1st.  But he was able to get there during their game against Arizona.  (Unfortunately, Eliot and I weren't watching that game.  It's the only Devils game we've missed since his trade, but we were driving down to Boston that night.)  I'm so glad he got a career high of 40!

Then on Monday, April 10th, a bunch of milestones were hit.  Sharks Captain Logan Couture hit 700 career NHL points with an assist on the first goal of the game.  Then, a few minutes later, the Sharks tv announcers told us that former Sharks Capitan, Joe Pavelski, reached the 1,000 NHL points mark during his game with the Dallas Stars.

And that wasn't it, defenseman Erik Karlsson of the San Jose Sharks has been on pace to hit 100 points most of this season.  The biggest question, was if he would reach it once the Sharks traded Timo Meier- the recipient of many of his passes that resulted in goals.  As I mentioned, a lot of new NHL players have gotten ice time for the Sharks the past few weeks, so there was speculation if Erik would reach the huge milestone, but during that same April 10th game, he did it.  Karlsson is only the 6th defenseman in NHL history to reach 100 points in a season!

So the past week has been pretty exciting in regards to individual efforts.  After tonight, Eliot and I will switch over to cheering for the former Sharks in the playoffs.  This year, there are quite a few playing for playoff bound teams- in fact there are 14 of them:

  • Timo Meier- New Jersey Devils
  • Joe Pavelski- Dallas Stars
  • Brent Burns- Carolina Hurricanes
  • Martin Jones, Jaycob Megna and Joonas Donskoi- Seattle Kraken
  • Barclay Goodrow- New York Rangers
  • Matt Neito and Andrew Cogliano- Colorado Avalanche
  • Brenden Dillon and Dylan DeMelo- Winnipeg Jets
  • Evander Kane- Edmonton Oilers
  • Mikey Eyssimont- Tampa Bay Lightning
  • Jacob Middleton- Minnesota Wild

We are both looking forward to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and hoping that a former Shark might lift the Cup this year... but this New England girl would also be happy if the Bruins win.  (With the season Boston has had, they're my pick!)  Of course, I'm rooting for my personal favorites, Timo Meier in the east and Joe Pavelski in the west.  But I'm sure the next two months will be exciting no matter how it goes!

As for the current San Jose Sharks, another season is coming to a close.  It wasn't pretty, but we still bleed teal regardless.  Here's hoping that next year will be better!

Until October boys... have a great summer!!!  °o°

Magical Merchandise: Joey Chou Disney Parks Collection

Happy Monday Everyone!  I hope that you had a wonderful holiday weekend.  Eliot and I had a great long weekend and really enjoyed ourselves down in Boston!

Today, we're taking a peek at a new collection that just dropped this morning over on Shop Disney.  Some of these items started showing up at the parks over the past week, but it was all released online earlier today at 3:00 AM.  Eliot and I didn't stay up for the drop, but I was anxious to check everything out this morning!

You might recall that Disney released the Jerrod Maruyama Home Collection last year around this same time.  At the time, the collaboration of a full product collection with one of their Disney artists was a newer concept.  You can imagine how excited I was when I discovered that they had done it again... this time with artist Joey Chou!

Joey has a completed different style than Jerrod, and I love this about art.  Eliot and I are fans of both artists.  I loved how Jerrod's designs were more cute and cartoony in nature.  Joey's designs are similar in that they're park characters, attractions and icons, but the style of the characters is totally different.  And I love the colors he chose!

The other big difference is that this isn't just a home collection.  The Joey Chou Disney Parks Collection has items for the kitchen, but it also has clothing and accessories!

So before I keep gushing about it, let's just dive in and check everything out!

We're starting off small with this adorable little Disney Parks Pin.

There's also a Mickey and Minnie Fantasyland Pin.

If you're into puzzles, this Disney Parks Puzzle looks like a fun challenge!

Now we're switching gears to the kitchen stuff.  I really love this Disney Parks Drinkware Set and how it features different park attractions!

The Disney Parks Pitcher is perfect to fill your cups with some magic!

The Disney Parks Melamine Bowl Set matches the cups perfectly!

There's also a Disney Parks Melamine Plate Set.  I think these would be perfect for serving plates as well as decorative plates for the wall.  (Thinking gears are turning...)

I would really love using this Disney Parks Mug as a way to start off the day!

And you can use all of these dishes when you have a picnic using the Disney Parks Picnic Blanket!  This blanket looks warm and the turquoise blue nylon side would be perfect to keep you dry if the ground is a little bit damp.  It even has a little bag!

If you'd rather use your picnic blanket to cuddle up and lounge around on the couch, you can do it in these matching Disney Parks Adult Sleep Pants.

The Disney Parks T-Shirt for Kids has a really cute design on it.  I wish it was also available in adult sizes!

I love this Disney Parks Dress for Girls.  (I'm having little girl dress envy again.)

There's also a cute Disney Parks Polo Shirt for Kids that I'm sure Eliot would love in his size... especially since it has Space Mountain and Stitch on it!

The Disney Parks Pullover Sweatshirt for Kids is really cute with the train graphics.

I am obsessed with this Disney Parks Denim Jacket for Adults.  I must get one!

I'm also 100% in love with the Disney Parks Spirit Jerseys.  I love the colors, the style of the characters and placement, and it has glittery white text!!!  Love!

The Disney Parks Woven Shirt for Men is really cute and is perfect for Eliot.

I also like the Disney Parks Reversible Bucket Hat!  Check out both sides!

Naturally, there is a Disney Parks Ear Headband in the collection.

And of course there's a Disney Parks Loungefly Backpack!  It's love at first sight!!!

The Disney Parks Dooney and Burke Satchel is a gorgeous purple with icons on it.

There's also a matching Disney Parks Dooney and Burke Wallet.

Finally, I've saved the best for last yet again.  The first thing that hinted at the collection was the Disney Parks Dooney and Burke Tote bag on display in a store about a week or so ago.  (I saw someone post a photo in one of my Facebook groups.)  It was very well received and it's already sold out online, but it should still be available in the parks!

What do you think?  I am 100% in love with pretty much all of it.  Hopefully things will stick around so Eliot and I will be able to grab them once we get our tax refund!  I've got my eye on all of the kitchen stuff as well as the jacket, Loungefly Bag, bucket hat, Spirit Jersey and the button down for Eliot!  I just wish they had also made a matching dress for women.  However, Joey Chou himself posted a link to the collection and he did say that more was to come.... so, a girl can hope!!!  °o°
