2020 Calendar Update

Well guys, it's high time that I admit defeat.  After months of trying to figure out what to do about my calendar conundrum, I've run out of ideas.  It's already more than halfway through February and at this point... I've decided to wave the white flag.

For those of you who hadn't heard, the short story is that the laptop I use to make the calendars on crashed last year.  I now have a new laptop, but the software I need is installed on my college laptop.  I don't have the software for my new laptop and right at the moment, we're not in the financial position to get it.  I've been left with no way to edit the calendars to the correct dates, months and holidays.

I'm incredibly disappointed that I won't be able to share my free printable Mickey and Minnie calendars this year.  Sharing them with all of you has brought me so much joy the past 6 years!  I love to see how you use them, or hearing about how you planned to use them to surprise your children with a Disney trip!

Fortunately, I've done some research and I found another alternative for you to use for the rest of 2020.  Disney actually makes a free printable calendar themselves.  You can find the Disney Family 2020 Printable Calendar at that link.  I thought these were really cute!  They have a different theme for each month.  Here are the movies that correspond with each month:

January-  101 Dalmatians
February- Princess and the Frog
March- A Bug's Life
April- Alice in Wonderland
May- Up
June- The Little Mermaid
July- Hercules
August- Mickey and Minnie
September- Ratatouille
October- Monsters University
November- Incredibles
December- Lady and the Tramp

Disney Family has included the major US holidays on the calendar.  They also have fun random holidays like Popcorn Day, National Pizza Day, National Pretzel Day and Ice Cream Day.  (Clearly, I'm all about days that celebrate food...)  They have included the release dates of their upcoming movies as well.

But, the absolute best part (at least in my opinion), is that they've also included a few cool Disney milestones!  There are a few dates marked by theme park ride openings, anniversaries of movie releases, and Disney characters birthdays!  I had a lot of fun hunting for those.  These different milestones would also be fun to celebrate!

I hope you enjoy these calendars and that they are a good alternative for 2020.

Now, I'm looking ahead at trying to figure out how to get my calendars put together for 2021!  I'm hoping that they'll be back and better than ever because there's a great, big, beautiful tomorrow, shining at the end of every day.  °o°
