Now that it's August, my mind is making the transition to fall and spooky season. Eliot and I are already preparing for Halloween. By normal standards, it's far too early... but the first Halloween after hours event at the Magic Kingdom is a week from tomorrow.
Thus, I thought that the 2021 Halloween collection might be released on Shop Disney today. Eliot and I both stayed up until 3 am in anticipation of the drop... unfortunately, I was left a little bit disappointed. Instead, the new products were filled with tons of Halloween costumes- but no park merchandise or decor (yet!). However, I still wanted to do a blog post for today... and since kids' costumes and dress up outfits are a fairly constant product on Shop Disney, I thought it might be fun to take a look at the new adult costumes. They only seem to have a large selection available for adults around Halloween time... so let's check some of the costumes out!
First, it wouldn't be Halloween without a few villains. This year, you can bring out your inner baddie with a Maleficent or Evil Queen costume.
If you're feeling playful, you could dress up as Lilo and Stitch.
Something that's new this year are the inflatable costumes. I love the Rex one!
You could also dress up like your favorite super hero from Black Panther.
Travel to a galaxy far, far away like the Mandalorian.
If you're ready to suck the souls from the children of Salem, these Sanderson Sisters costumes would be perfect option for your group.
If you want a fun couples costume idea, you could be Jack and Sally.
Or get in touch with your inner royalty as Cinderella and Prince Charming.
There are tons of options for women, starting with Pocahontas and Tinker Bell.
You could dress up as Belle and you even have outfit options.
Escape your tower like Rapunzel or become part of Ariel's world.
I would have loved to have this Jasmine costume when I was a kid!
You could be a classic princess like Sleeping Beauty or Snow White.
You could also be a strong warrior like Mulan.
You have more outfit options as Elsa in Frozen 2. I really love the first one!
I also really love how regal this Queen Anna costume is! I'd wear it!
Finally, this Wilderness Explorer Set is one of the pieces that I've been watching out for online! I want to get a set to add to Eliot's and my Up display that I'm planning for our living room! These are the perfect props for what I envisioned!
These adult Halloween costumes are so much fun; I was really surprised at how many different options Shop Disney had! If I had to pick one, I'd probably be Queen Anna or Elsa in her white Spirit dress. Although, I've always thought it would be fun to dress up as Wilderness Explorers with Eliot! Which costume is your favorite? °o°
