Happy Friday!!! Turkey day is less than a week away and I'm already daydreaming about all of the delicious foods that I will soon be devouring. (If you've hung around here before, you already know that I'm particularly fond of turnip! Yummm!!!)

One part of Thanksgiving that often gets overlooked for us is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Often, we're in such a rush to get ready and travel to the destination where we're eating, that we completely miss it. Or worse, we have the television on in the background while we're getting ready and preparing my parents' house to host everyone for Thanksgiving. Either way, I'm usually missing out.

I usually try to catch a replay or at least an overview of the balloons. I always like to see which Disney balloons were in the parade! Today, I thought it might be fun to do an overview of some of the Disney balloons that have been in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade through the years! Let's check them out!
In this first video, you'll see the evolution of Mickey Mouse through balloons featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's really cool to see how far Mickey has come!
This next video is of the "Top 10 Disney Balloons at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade." It's this person's opinion, but I thought it was fun to see a bunch of the past Disney balloons! I really love the Olaf one! Santa Goofy is really cute too!
This year, Disney is featuring a giant ship shaped float of the Disney Wish, the Disney Cruise Line's newest addition to their fleet! The float will be called the "Magic of the Sea" as it's "floats" through the streets of New York City.

It was also reported that Jordan Fisher, who sang "Happily Ever After" in the fireworks show, will be performing an original song on it. The song will be titled "Together We Set Sail" and I'm so excited! In the rendering released, it also shows plenty of our favorite Disney friends onboard. I can't wait! (Yes, I know it's basically a giant advertisement for Disney Cruise, but I'm still here for it regardless of the intent!)

I can't wait to see the Wish and to see what other balloons are featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!!! Hopefully, I will get to enjoy the parade this year!!! °o°
