Happy Monday! Today, I thought I'd share another magical merchandise post. One of my favorite theme park souvenirs the past few years have been my Disney Alex and Ani charm bracelets. I've mentioned them in passing a bunch of times here on my blog, but I've never actually gone in depth about what they are.

Alex and Ani bracelets made their Disney debut back during the summer of 2014. (I can't believe they've already been around for seven years!) I started my collection when I received my Cinderella Castle and Disneyland 60th bracelets as a gift from my parents back on Christmas of 2015. They were the first of many...
Three to four years ago, Alex and Ani bracelets were the must have thing. They're still very popular and new designs are still being released, but people aren't going quite as bonkers over them as they used to. (Loungefly bags have been more popular as of late.) The designs available at Shop Disney online really varies, but the theme parks have always had a bunch of different designs when I've been there.
Through the years, I've bought a bracelet here and another one there. I've amassed quite a collection at this point! Naturally, I've gotten most of the holiday designs. I've also gotten a few from special events like the D23 Expo in 2017, the Festival of the Arts in 2018, and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in 2017. I also have the special edition bracelet from when the New England Patriots won Super Bowl LI.
Since we haven't been to the parks since January of 2020, the most recent editions to my collection are all bracelets that I've ordered online from Shop Disney- 2020 Disney Christmas Snacks, Wishes Come True Blue, Disney Dogs, and Orange Bird.
At lot of people wear their Alex and Ani bracelets daily, but I've only worn mine for special occasions. Some people say that they get scratched easily, but so far mine are ok. (If you were wearing them daily, they probably would.) I find that wearing them on special occasions or with a special outfit makes them more magical. For example, I wore my Rapunzel bracelet with my Rapunzel themed outfit to celebrate my 32nd birthday. I've also worn my patriotic bangles for 4th of July a few times!
Right now, my Alex and Ani collection is safely tucked away while Eliot and I work on re-organizing our master bedroom. However, I do have a fun plan to display all of them once the dust finally settles! It will be both cute and functional!

(See my Disneyland 60th photo above.) Alex and Ani's Disney designs will definitely add some magical charm to your arms! °o°
