Disneyland's 67th Birthday

It's Sunday Fun Day and today is an extra special one since today is Disneyland's 67th birthday, World Emoji Day and it's also National Ice Cream Day!!!

I originally had another blog post planned for today, but things have been completely insane the past few weeks and I've decided to push it off until next year.  Eliot and I have been so busy... but we're getting things done.  Both of our businesses are going well after a little bit of a sales slump in June.  We have also made progress on the house.  And we've even squeezed in some space to relax and spend time with each other.  (Focusing on my Word of the Year BALANCE seems to be working!) 

However, I had to stop by for a quick post to celebrate one of my favorite places in the world.  We had so much fun at Disneyland with Eliot's family back in March.  Now I'm starting to get really excited about our upcoming trip out to California and Anaheim for the D23 Expo and Disneyland!!!  My family flies out in 48 days!

There are so many things that I'm looking forward to.  I think the thing that's most exciting right now is taking my parents to Disneyland for the first time.  Jeremy went with me to my KeyCon travel agent conference (for Key to the World Travel) back in December of 2017.  So he's been there and experienced it for the first time.  I can't wait to show Mom and Dad anything and everything at Disneyland!

There will be lots of bucket lists and to do lists for this upcoming trip.  Right now, I'm trying to gather my focus into preparing my outfits for Disneyland and D23.  Eliot and I usually pack last minute, but I want to bring a few special things.  We're also trying to figure out what mouse ears we want to take, and if there are any designs we want to make for our trip!  (We've got to get on that soon if we need to make some!)

There are a lot of moving parts, but I'm just really excited about my family being able to go out to California to experience Disneyland together.  It's a really special place to me; it's the place where the magic was born... on this day back in 1955.

Thank you for 67 magical years Disneyland!!!  I can't wait to see you in 50 days!!!  °o°
