Happy Father's Day!!! Much like Mother's Day, Eliot and I are celebrating Father's Day from afar. However, we were able to see my Mom and Dad briefly on Friday when they were on their way through town. Plus, we saw them over Memorial Day weekend and we'll be heading up to Trenton again for the 4th of July in a few weeks. We were able to see Eliot's Dad back in March while we were in California, and we will probably be seeing his family again when we go out for the D23 Expo in September!
I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve for today though. A few weeks ago, I bought myself some new San Jose Sharks and New England Patriots gear during JCPenney's sports shop sale. It's the only time when I can get some of the stuff (like jerseys) on sale since the normal websites don't usually put them on sale. Thus, I usually indulge a little bit. I happened to find something that I thought Eliot might enjoy, so I bought him a present from me and our "donkey" children. It's not much, but I thought these "#1 Dad" San Jose Sharks socks were too cute to pass up! And he loved them!
