Today is Live Creative Day!!!
I first celebrated this holiday when I discovered it last year while planning my social media posts for our businesses. I think it's awesome to set aside a day to celebrate creativity... especially since it's one of my favorite things about myself.
When I was planning my blog posts out, I had originally intended to take some time to work on a personal project today, but the timing isn't great. I'm still so tired from our trip. All I want to do is veg out on the couch and binge watch Disney+ shows.
However, all is not lost. When I'm kicking back and not pushing through Etsy orders or cleaning the house, that's usually when I have my best ideas. My brain is left free to wander and that's usually the best time to brainstorm. (It's like that concept that you have your best ideas when you're in the shower, or driving or falling asleep in bed.)
And I've definitely been inspired over the past week. Our trip to Disneyland and the D23 Expo got all sorts of gears winding in my brain. So for now, I'm going to kick back, watch some mindless television and see where the creative juices flow...
